Maggie, thanks for your great feedback about good ways to use our Oil Dipping Dishes/Coasters. We love when people get creative with our pottery pieces!

This could be a spoon rest, coaster, or oil dipping dish, but I am using it as a soapdish. My toothbrush holder broke, so I moved in a Red Poppy Signature mug temporarily, since it’s large, sturdy, and so pretty. Then I realized that it matched my bathroom decor perfectly. As soon as I saw the oil dipping dish on the website I knew I had my matching soapdish. I was so happy when I put it on my sink and it fit the space perfectly. I love how these two pieces elevate the appearance of my small apartment bathroom.

“Both the pitcher and the coasters (both Lavender pattern) were purchased as a gift for neighbors who own a lavender farm. They were delighted.”

Shipping was quick and utterly well done. These little plate-like pieces are lovely. However, sorry that the bottoms are not glazed and therefore rough.

We are glad you are enjoying the pottery and the shipping was fast and efficient! Thank you for your purchase. Just a quick note about the bottom of the dishes being unglazed – there is a small unglazed portion on each of our pieces – which exists to prevent the pottery from sticking to the kiln. The unglazed portion generally smooths with regular use over time. Learn more about the process on our FAQ page at https://emersoncreekpottery.live/faq/
